al baqarah ayat 5

Meaning of the word:
لَٰٓئِكَ لَىٰ Uulaaika 'ala hudan min robbihim means a sign to the group that has the
five characteristics mentioned earlier and the news that they remain in istiqomah
with guidance from Allah in the form of faith and good deeds, in the way of Allah
that leads to good luck. لَٰٓئِكَ لۡمُفۡلِحُونَ Wa ulaaika humul muflihuun means a sign to those
who get perfect guidance and news that they are a lucky group, deserve to win to enter
heaven after surviving hell.

Meaning of the verse:
Then Allah reported that they are in perfect guidance from their Lord,
and they are the lucky ones in this world with purity and serenity,
while in the Hereafter they are lucky because they enter Paradise after previously
being saved from Hell.

Lessons from the verse:
An appeal to the believers and motivation for them to have the characteristics of a group
that gets guidance and luck, so that they take the path they take so that they get guidance
and are lucky in this world and the hereafter.

al baqarah 4

Faith in the Book of Al-Qur'an Az-Zuhayli in Tafsir Al-Munir said,
those who are pious are those who confirm all the revelations that were revealed to
the Prophet Muhammad, and all the prophets and apostles. They believe in the afterlife
with certainty without any doubt, and also believe in the resurrection of bodies and spirits
in the grave, reckoning, vengeance, mizan, sirath, heaven, and hell.
Those who are characterized as such, namely faith in the unseen, enforcement of prayer,
spending zakat, belief in the Last Day, faith in the Qur'an and the books that were revealed
previously (Torah, Gospel, Zabur, and Suhuf). They walk on the light and guidance of God.
They occupy a high position with Him. They are high achievers in eternal heaven.
Their nature, way of life, and regulations in Islamic life are perfect faith in all things
unseen, namely the substance of Allah, the angels, the hereafter; faith in all that
the Qur'an proclaims and in all that is indicated by the evidence.
Their faith is accompanied by good deeds, namely the enforcement of obligatory prayers,
infaq in the way of Allah, social assistance for the needy and poor as well as sunnah alms,
obligatory living for family, children, and relatives. Faith in the revelations sent down
by Allah cannot be separated from each other, namely the necessity of believing
in detail in the Qur'an and the necessity of believing in general in the book
and the heavenly divine before the Qur'an. (Az-Zuhayli). As is well known,
that all is not considered except without belief in faith.
Many verses show that piety is the fear of violating Allah's provisions.
Taqwa is the essence of all goodness. Taqwa is God's will for the former and the latter.
Taqwa is goodness that can be taken advantage of by humans themselves, according
to the opinion of Abu Darda's friend. (Az-Zuhayli).
Al-Baghowi in Tafsir Ma'alimut Tanzil said, "And those who believe in what has been
revealed to you (Muhammad)" means the Qur'an. "And what was sent down before you"
means the Torah, the Bible, and all the books that were revealed to the prophets,
peace be upon him. This verse describes the believers among the people of the book.

al baqarah ayat 3

Sheikh Wahbah Az-Zuhayli in Tafsirul Munir said, Allah mentions four characteristics of
pious people who accept the guidance of the Qur'an. They are people who believe and believe
in the unseen things that are reported in the Qur'an, namely resurrection, reckoning, shirath,
heaven, hell, and other unseen things. They do not stop at purely empirical material
and physical objects that are accessible to mere short minds.
They reach out to the metaphysical realm behind matter, namely spirits, jinn, angels,
and ultimately the existence and oneness of Allah. They, said Sheikh Wahbah,
then performed the prayer perfectly, namely fulfilling the requirements, harmony, etiquette,
and solemnity. Prayer without being solemn, contemplating the readings in prayer,
understanding the meaning of the Qur'an, and fearing Allah are mere bodies without life.
(Az-Zuhayli) After that, they spend their wealth in the way of goodness through zakat, alms,
or other living obligations so that the generosity of all people is concrete and
their wealth is free from all doubts. Thus, the buildings desired by the Shari'a become
perfect, namely individual buildings through prayer as the pillar of religion,
and community buildings through zakat and its derivatives which become the principle
of progress, life growth, and community happiness.
(Az-Zuhayli) Surah Al-Baqarah verse 3 is general for all unseen things reported
by the Prophet; general in nature for all prayers, both obligatory and sunnah;
and is common in all forms of infaq, both obligatory and sunnah. (Az-Zuhayli)

al baqarah ayat 2

In the Book of Tafsir Al Azhar compiled by Buya Hamka it is also explained,
every verse and letter that came down and began to circulate and
be memorized by the companions did not need to be doubted,
because there was nothing to doubt. "He is truly a revelation from God, brought by Jibril,
not just made up by the Apostle who is not good at writing and reading.
He is a guide for people who want to be pious or Muttaqin,"
explained Buya Hamka in his further interpretation.

According to the interpretation of Surah Al Baqarah verse 2,
people who are pious are people who maintain and protect themselves
from the punishment of Allah SWT by always carrying out orders and
staying away from His prohibitions.

al baqarah 1

Alif Lam Mim. These are the letters that are used to open several chapters of the Qur'an.
This is a hijaiah letter that has no meaning in itself because it is written separately
such as: alif, ba, ta and so on. In the letters there is wisdom and purpose,
because there is nothing in the Qur'an that does not have wisdom.
Among his most notable lessons is hinting at the challenge of making a Qur`ān
consisting of the letters that make up the words they know and use to speak.
Therefore, in general, the hijaiah letters are followed by a mention of
the Al-Qur`ān Al-Karīm, as in this surah.
